Medical Center Ophthalmology is a leading eye care facility treating patients from the Houston metropolitan area as well as from international referrals. We see patients at our two Texas Medical Center locations, St. Luke's Medical Tower and the Scurlock Tower. Our physicians have a comprehensive ophthalmology practice, with specialty care in cataract, refractive eye surgery (LASIK, LASEK, PRK), glaucoma, cornea and external diseases, and contact lenses. Our practice conducts clinical research and assists in various teaching programs. We use the most current techniques for all of our surgeries, including multifocal and accomodating intraocular lenses for cataract and refractive surgery, all-laser LASIK using Intralase, and the VISX Excimer Laser as well as the Allegretto Wave--the newest laser for refractive surgery in the U.S.
